In 2003, UAL completed its first major residential condominium project, The Lyla, in the heart of Manhattan's Chelsea district. The Lyla was created from the bones of an existing three-story structure; UAL added seven stories with numerous setbacks, creating seventeen loft-like luxury apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms in size.
